It's a Twinderful Life

Looking For the Silver Lining in All of Life's Clouds

a baby shower invite.

on January 10, 2013

Howdy hey kids! Can you believe it?! Two consecutive posts! We are representing!

Anywho, as I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’ve been a busy little bee planning an amazing baby shower for Bre. I am lucky to work with some AMAZING peeps who have awesome talents and, luckily, they are willing to share them with the world. One such coworker is a graphic designer and I am literally obsessed with the stuff he comes up with, so I thought I’d ask him to design the invite.

If you don’t know already, Bre has a slight obsession with owls. I’m not sure where it came from, but it started last year and has been in full force throughout her pregnancy. I won’t tell you how many owl-related articles of clothing and nursery decorations we’ve purchased for Little Girl, but suffice it to say that it may be slightly disturbing. So, in keeping  with this theme, we of course had to include one on the invite.

We e-mailed Jeremy (this fantastic coworker) and he agreed to work his design magic. These were the parameters that we gave him:

  • No baby pink (hot pink is okay)
  • Love red, turquoise, burnt orange, royal blue
  • I want an owl to be incorporated somehow
  • Bold & Modern (no rainbows, bunnies, butterflies, etc.)
  • Less is more

And this is the masterpiece that he created (personal information taken out for safety):

SO awesome, right? We are pleased as punch with the results.

Moral of the story – if you need any kind of graphic design project completed, you definitely need to give Jeremy a call. He will hook you up! And his prices are more than reasonable. Please feel free to peruse his online portfolio and solicit his services here.

Enjoy your Thursday!
