It's a Twinderful Life

Looking For the Silver Lining in All of Life's Clouds

love (cont.)

I saw this video today and it made my heart smile. Isn’t love the best, most beautiful and perfect thing? We are truly lucky to be on this earth to experience it in all of its forms.

Have a great Tuesday!

Miniature.

Happy Friday everyone! We made it!

I hope that you all have some fun plans for your Labor Day weekend, even if those plans just include a lot of relaxing. Bre and her husband are headed off to Colorado to visit family, and Steve and I are going to hang around here. It’ll be nice to take a break from work and just enjoy some of the last of our beautiful summer days here in Utah before our favorite season (Autumn) arrives.

I have a confession, and you may never look at me that same way again. For any of you who know me really well, you know that I have a thing for animals, especially the miniature ones. For those of you who don’t know me so well, welcome to one of my obsessions (if you follow me on instagram (my username is braqmoore) you may have guessed this since 90% of the pics I post are of my miniature dachshunds). Case in point, when I first saw this commercial I almost died from absorbing the cuteness of the miniature giraffe (even if it is fake). Seriously.

My team at work is quickly becoming aware of this and one of them sent me this video the other day.

Can it get any cuter than that little pig?! His little grunts and squeaks just make my heart smile. I want one more than anything and I think I’ve almost got Steve convinced to get me one once we get a house. They can be trained like a dog and Porsche and Sparky would LOVE another playmate, I’m sure.

Since then, I’ve been on the prowl for other miniature animals  to adopt. So far I’ve settled on the following:

miniature horses02

Miniature horse. source.

pygmy hippo

Pygmy hippo. source.

Pygmy goat. source.

Come on. You have to admit that you’re smiling now. The cuteness is just too overpowering.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I could happily live out my days in a semi-rural community with my little farm of miniatures. If it ever happens, you’ll be welcome to stop by and live vicariously through me.

Please tell me I’m not the only one…
